Basically it's a project to bring back Alona Tal to Supernatural and to assure Eric Kripke that there is a Jo (and Dean/Jo) fanbase and that and that we would like to see more stories with the Harvelles and Winchesters.

Why should I take the time to do this?

Simple: if you enjoyed Jo as a character and think the negative reaction she got only came from a part of the fandom that's usually very vocal, you owe it to yourself to be vocal about your opinions as well.

What's so special about "Jo"?

 Jo Harvelle is a very good character and a match for the brothers, her family's history is entwined with the Winchester history. Papa W and Bill Harvelle hunted together. It would be a shame for the Harvelle/Winchester partnership to end like this. As you might have noticed in early Season 2 both Jo and Dean seemed to, to put it quite literally, "have the hots for each other" he sang a song just because it reminded him of her, he seemed truly concerned about her after she talked with her mom about her father's real fate, they bonded over daddy issues and they had chemistry out the wazoo.

Okay she's awesome, I get it. Then, why is she getting so little screen time?

The Supernatural fandom has always reacted badly to love interests for the brothers (particularly Dean's love interests) most people think a serious relationship with a female might hurt the brother's dynamics and such. We do not think that is the case, in fact we think that it could create some very interesting plotlines.
